We recommend you to take the BV-2249 road that goes from the town of Gelida to Sant Llorenç de Hortonç, follow the road to Sant Sadurní de Anoia (International Capital of Cava) and reach Vilafranca del Penedès.

First stage: Gelida, Sant Llorenç de Hortons and Sant Sadurní de Anoia

Gelida,  is a town very close to Barcelona where the Catalan bourgeoisie retired in summer to enjoy a rest with the lowest temperatures.
The town deserves a walk through its streets and discovers some bourgeois villas with beautiful views of the vineyards and the Montserrat mountain.
